This year, one of Justin's co-workers (a Kentucky native), threw her first annual Derby party, and while hats were optional, I just knew I had to make one. I've never made a Derby hat before, but it seemed like something I would have fun doing. I found a cheap hat at JC Penny's and then it was off to Jo-Ann's and Michael's for supplies to decorate.
