There's A Mission On My Mind

Justin has been thinking about taking a missions trip for quite a while.  He went on one when he was in high school, and it made such an impact on him that he has always wanted to do another one.  Well, the right opportunity has seemed to come along.

The church that we have been going to for quite some time is offering a missions trip to Alberta, Canada in mid-July.  Honestly, this trip is perfect for Justin as they are going to the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary to assist with repairs and maintenance (landscaping, painting, student apartments, repairing irrigation lines, fencing).  They will also be conducting VBS for children of the seminary students.  I am unable to go with him, as I won't have enough vacation time built up yet when we get back from our trip. 

However, as with any missions trip, there is a cost associated.  The cost of this trip is around $1,000.  Justin asked me to post this here as he is hoping to raise some of the funds to go on the trip.  He doesn't know for sure if he is going to go yet as he still has to work out the details with the church and his employer.  Meanwhile, if you would like to support Justin on this trip, please contact him or myself and we will keep you updated on the status of the trip.  There is no need to make any donations now, but if you would like to make a pledge, please let us know.
