It's official! We're going to the CMT Awards! The tickets arrived in the mail last night!

Many of you know that Justin isn't the biggest lover of country music. So, I want to make sure that I let you all know how much trouble he went to so that I could have tickets. He originally got a presale invitation to the show, and when he went to book some of those tickets, they were already sold out. They had a very limitied number of tickets for presale. He was told that he would have to wait until the tickets went on sale to the public. That Saturday, he was on the phone with Ticketmaster as soon as they went on sale. By the time he got through, the only tickets that were available were separated by one seat. While he was confirming them with the ticket agent, they disappeared. This meant that they were bought by someone else. No joke, this show sold out in 12 minutes! The ticket agent told him he was sorry, but that they were out of tickets and to try StubHub.

So on to StubHub...Tickets were selling quickly, but he found a set and bought them. We thought we were good to go. Then on Monday night when I got home from work, there was a message from StubHub saying that the seller decided not to sell the tickets, but that they had replacement tickets for us. C'mon...are you serious? If you aren't planning on selling them, then why did you list them in the first place? So, Justin called them back to find out about the replacment tickets. The only problem was that they had already released our new tickets to the public. This was only 6 hours after they had left us a message on the answering machine. I'm sure that Justin was fuming at this poing. From here, they said that they would find us a set of replacement tickets. On Tuesday, they called us and told us that they had tickets for us, but we would need to call by a certain time or else they would release them. No way were we going through this again! So I called and confirmed the tickets since Justin was out on the road seeing clients. We made it one step further this time...we got a confirmation! Alright, so at this point, we think we're going. Wrong. StubHub called us AGAIN and said that after contacting the seller, they no longer have those tickets. All I can think is, "You have GOT to be kidding me!" Here we go again... Because of the Buyer Protection Program that StubHub has...they have to find us ANOTHER set of replacement tickets! So at this point, we're keeping our fingers crossed that this next set of tickets will be the real deal. We get a confirmation AND now we get an email saying the tickets have been shipped. Hallelujah they arrived in the mail last night!!! Finally, this drama is over!

They have added more performances to the show and it looks like it is going to be a great night of entertainment. To tell you the truth, Justin is actually looking forward to going. Here's a list of those entertainers who are scheduled to perform:
